Looking Through a Kaleidoscope

I have a little challenge for you. If you have an iPad, try out the kaleidoscope effect in Photo Booth.

Last week I borrowed a friend’s and got some enormous pleasure pointing it at plants and flowers.

Then I had fun taking pictures of my artwork. It gave me some ideas for fabric designs inspired by whatever you have at hand. I’ve added some of these to my Pinterest page. I think these images would work well as tiles.

I don’t own an iPad, but it’s moving up fast to my wish list. Try out yours and let me know how it works for you, or better still, link your results in the comments section.
